Father Mac’s Heavenly Puddings

A Pudding with ‘Heavenly’ Flavour: The precise recipe of Father Mac’s Heavenly Puddings is a secret.  However, a visit to the factory (appointment only) in Perry Street Alstonville, will give you an idea of the care taken in the production of what is described as a delicious morsel. Darcy McCarthy began making puddings for the Church cake stall.  Demand for the puddings grew and after Father Mac passed away, the parishioners decided to continue with the production of the puddings.  The puddings are now being sent all over Australia and as far a field as Germany and Ireland.   Further information: Ballina Visitors Centre Ph: 02-6686-3484
